On the 13th November the lovely Andy Bunker from Alton Garden Centre is joining us at St Augustine’s with information about our gardens over winter and will be bringing some plants for sale. Andy is always a pleasure to listen to and this will be his third visit to us.
Meanwhile at The Balmoral Community Centre our resident counsellor will be starting a 3 month CBT introduction course. the first one will be in the main room and if everyone wants to participate we will stay in the large room but if only a selection of people want to continue Sally will move her flipboard to the Board Room for those who want to join her. The rest of the group will stay in the main room for our usual chatty sessions. You can still have your one to ones with Karen or Sally – will will just work around the CBT so no one gets left out.
CHRISTMAS 2025
The £2 Christmas Party at St Augustine’s will take place on the 11th December (you will need to put your name down on the list so we know how many sandwiches etc to order ). This year Lee (The Fundraiser) is bringing Santa with him and we will get him to draw the raffle. Tickets for the raffle will be £1 each and all money raised will be given to Lee’s charity. We have a good game for you to play but some of you may need your magnifying glass!
The £1 Balmoral Christmas Party will be on the 18th December upstairs in the main hall. where we will have a small selection of nibbles and play a few games and quizzes.
